Registration can be done online, in person or by telephone.
To register to bid in one of our upcoming auctions, please contact us by email or telephone and we would be happy to provide you with a Bidder Registration Form. Once you have returned the completed form, as well as ID and Proof of Address to us, you are now ready to bid.

Choose a Bidding Method
By Telephone
One of our client service representatives will then call you during the sale as we are approaching your lot, allowing you to bid through your telephone representative live during the auction.
Please contact us by telephone, email or in person to arrange this. All telephone bids must be booked by midday on the day of the sale.
By Absentee Bid
When absentee bidding, you to leave a written bid with us prior to the sale. The auctioneer will then execute this bid on your behalf, attempting to achieve the lowest bid possible for you during the sale.

After the Auction
Payment
If you are successful in bidding at auction, you will receive post sale notifications by email, including:
- An invoice detailing auction sale price and all other charges such as buyer’s premium, VAT, etc.
- Details of how to pay
- Information regarding storage & collection
- Shipping information.
Buyer’s Premium
All lots purchased at auction and by private treaty will be subject to a buyer’s premium charged at a rate of 25% of the hammer price unless stated otherwise in the details of any particular auction. This premium is subject to VAT payable at the standard UK rate.
Storage & Collection
We will happily store purchases free of charge until the Friday at the end of the week following each auction. After this point, unless otherwise agreed in writing with us, all lots will be subject to a storage charge of £10 per day plus VAT.
Following each auction, goods will be available for collection from our office in Notting Hill in our normal opening hours, otherwise by appointment.
Shipping
(i) Domestic UK packages are charged according to the below pricing bands, dependent on the invoice amount:
Band A – £1 – £2,500. Cost is £20.00
Band A – £2,501 – £4,000. Cost is £30.00
Band B – £4,001 – £6,000 Cost is £40.00
Band C- £6,001 – £8,000 Cost is £50.00
Band D – £8,001 – £10,000 Cost is £60.00
Band E – £10,001 – £15,000 Cost is £70.00
Band F – £15,001 and above Cost is £80.00
International Packages are charged as follows:
i) Up to £250 in value charged at £30.00 per package;
ii) In excess of £250 in value charged at £40.00 per package plus insurance at a rate of 1% of the total purchase price.
