Office Admin / Marketing

We are currently looking for an office administrator to join our team, on a permanent part time contract.

Hours
Flexible working hours, 12-16 hours per week. Overtime available during auction periods.

Pay
Competitive hourly rate of pay on offer.

Key roles

  • Act as first point of contact for customers
  • Collecting payments from buyers
  • Overseeing the clearance and collection of lost after auctions
  • Quoting and organising shipping of purchases to clients
  • Using GAP software to respond to condition report requests and other queries
  • General administration work on auction and viewing days
  • Social media marketing including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
  • Bi-weekly email marketing

Requirements

  • Auction house / Arts experience preferable
  • Experience with GAP software preferable (though full training will be given)
  • Previous email / social media marketing experience
  • Fluency in English
  • Fluency in another language preferred (European / Russian / Chinese)

The ideal candidate will be confident and well presented, as well as experienced in dealing with clients in a luxury environment. The role is available to begin on or around the 1st November 2017.
